Yes! The need is there for sure. The best pocketed pants i have found are medical scrub pants, the cargo style. Lots of pockets, and very roomy pockets. I have some from when i worked at the hospital, but they're a little too lightweight for working in cold temps. For summer thats what i work in.

My Duluth Trading Company heavy canvas pants have a lot of pockets, cargo style, plus a long, deep, narrow pocket for a hive tool. And a loop for hanging hammers or keys.
