Saw a friend congratulating themselves on their followers numbers (reached some sort of milestone). What’s the point? I don’t get it. It’s a metric on a platform you don’t own that says absolutely nothing about anything besides maybe that people like to hear what you have to say.

Disappointed.

Remove the follower count entirely and live free.
