Not easy, and biology is a factor that takes thousands of years, for sure. Vegan foods and supplements are getting better and better each year, and for me as I said in another comment it came down to ethics first personally and the fact that we *can* now eat without the use of animals. It’s a great evolutionary path for humanity imo, but would never advocate for controlling anyone’s diet at any level, or demonizing folks for taking their own path, farmers, ranchers, etc.

Speaking of evolutionary paths, I often wonder if I will live to see the era of human bio-hacking, imagine having genetic alterations enabling our liver to produce vitamin C like canine livers do, or alterations to skin cells such that we produce ATP through photosynthesis to augment our energy needs. Perhaps shifts in morphology to increase available sun exposed surface area. The possibilities are easily as diverse as the unique survival strategies exercised by each unique life form we share this planet with. Speaking to your circumstance though, if you don’t mind me asking, are you over 40? How do you acquire complete protein, and what is your preferred source of fatty acids?
