My thoughts on the US bombing Iran;

Violence was inevitable, eventually. It's unfortunate and I hope to God it remains limited.

I've seen plenty of videos of Persians who want rid of the Mullahs. Maybe this will lead to that. Footage from Iran in the 70s showed a modern world, full of beauty. The US and the Brit government really fucked them over.

It is distressing to watch another potentially huge conflict erupt. On balance, perhaps it should have been left in Israels hands, but as I understand it they lack the hardware to take out those huge nuclear sites.

Russia can't intervene, they couldn't even continue to prop up Assad in Syria while maintaining an almost endless war with NATO. I doubt the Chinese will get involved, beyond using it as a testing ground for military hardware, like the combatants in the Ukraine are doing.

Either way, hopefully the UK remains locked out of this particular conflict.

What a shit show.

Don't count out China. The CCP has a lot riding on the Belt and Road Initiative. They've put a lot of work into putting together the BRICS network. They may not be so keen on the US destroying their plans.

I'm not counting them out, but if they do anything kinetic I suspect it'll be Taiwan, while the US is embroiled in Ukraine and Iran and I'm not even sure they'll do that, given how well they're doing for themselves through non aggressive diplomacy.

Taiwan is tough. The Chinese will have trouble bringing ships over outside of October and April. The straights get turbulent. They may decide that shipping weapons to Iran is a better use of their time right now.

100% (shit) show.

The U.K. is deep in it already, has been for ages.
