. . . 10,000 steps

Good morning Athoi ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’™

#GrouseGrind

Good morning Mike!

I walk almost regularly. Today I installed a pedometer because I was curious to know what that walk meant from a technical/physical perspective!

Walking/Roaming around calms my mind.

Wow, the picture! Did you hike there? I've never been to hiking. Totally a plain land person! How was it? I didnโ€™t know about Grouse mountain untill just now. Seems quite challenging!

Have a great day! ๐ŸŒบ

Hi Athoi. My wife is the hiker in the family. I climb hills for exercise, but I've never done the Grouse Grind. I've skied on the mountain, though.

OMG skiing mountain must feel amazing! Someday, hopefully!

. . . amazing

My first time skiing was in the night.

Straight down the mountain I went. Until I hit a bump. A mogul.

Bounce. Bounce. Bounce.

Ooooooooo I could hear from the ski lift above as I lay face down in the snow.

Minus one ski, that had made its way to the bottom of the hill.

I walked the rest of the way down, each step knee deep in snow.

Young and bruised and ready to go down again. ๐Ÿ‚๐ŸŽฟโ›ท๏ธ

Such great moments! "Young and bruised and ready to go down again!" What a spirit! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ™๐Ÿงก

. . . the immortal days of youth

Young, and dumb.

The next time I had a better idea that you don't go straight down. Moving side side is a slower, better way.

I learned by watching some kids. Thought if they could do it, so could I.

I've always been a jump in first ask questions later kind of guy. But with age, with bumps and bruises, am slightly more cautious.
