Trees are introverts protector against staring eyes.

RIP Mr. Walnut Tree

the house next to where I lived had the most majestic pine tree ever, they cut it down 3 months after I moved in.

I have not recover.

I had to completely clear a wooded lot for a commercial project one time. I received a voicemail from a neighbour man who grew up playing on the lot. His tear-filled heartbroken voicemail still haunts me.

Hubby is legit traumatized.

Iโ€™m sure someone will see him through it.

Is it a danger to the buildings ?

Yes, and it's becoming a problem for the neighbors and too expensive to maintain. Everytime there's a storm, we spend a lot of money thinning it out and stuff.

We also chopped down an apple ๐ŸŽ tree and topped the big cherry ๐Ÿ’ tree, but the walnut ๐ŸŒฐ was the most painful. At least we're getting some nice firewood, out of the deal.

Thatโ€™s a shame. I donโ€™t like seeing trees cut down unnecessarily, but our neighbours just had to do the same to a birch for the same reasons. Fortunately our little flowering cherry is easy to look after

We'll plant new ones and we still have three others, but the walnut was a gem. Also was so nice to have afternoon tea under it, in summer.

Next door has a mature Magnolia that used to provide us excellent cover for al fresco wine drinking in the summer. Sadly they hacked it back last year
