Sent this to my family which created a big discussion. What do the people of nostr think?

For me - I agree. I think it's great women have a choice now if they want to work but I think the majority of women would prefer to not work. Work being defined as working for an employer. Being a mother is work in itself!

😂 He went full argumentum ad nauseum to make his point, which is entertaining.

Bitcoin fixes the need for all the women to work.

The world today demands both partners work whereas it wasn’t as such in the past.

I actually know a lot of women who work and have househusbands, as I'm entering that age when the dynamic starts to flip because of age gaps and mens' health declining. (He's older than her and retired, and he watches the grandkids after school or takes care of grandma.)

But, I agree, both partners needing to work full-time outside of the house is a situation that is a sign of poverty, and nothing to cheer.

I think he isn't going to change anyone's minds as he comes off pretty brash. But I think that a good starting point would be to just remind women that being a mom or homemaker is a valid use of time and energy and the "feminists" can piss off.

I agree 100% with the guy. The push for women going to work for an employer is just another scheme to be able to tax women as well, and to further camouflage the effects of inflation.

It is a man's job to take care of the protection and wellbeing of the family (financial, physical, logical, ...)

And it is a woman's job to be a force of love for the family so that each next generation are functional human beings.

Ofcourse if a woman wants to pursue a career instead, go for it, but don't expect a man to want a family with you. There's women ceo's but I guarantee most if not all are miserable because they are ignoring their natural purpose.
