Had this problem when using Damus and other mobile apps. Web clients looks smooth!
I’ve found Damus seems to only render the username if you follow them or if you’ve recently viewed their profile. Primal.net is a great way to read the Nostr Report. Here’s a link to tonight’s for reference:
