#[3] I’ve got a question I don’t think I’ve ever heard answered.

What’s the plan for passing on bitcoin to children, family/friends as we age and unfortunately pass on? Are people putting they private keys in wills? Are people relying on companies like unchained capital?

I’ve got to get this figured out because right now my wife would have no idea what to do to access our nest egg.

I would not recommend putting your private keys in a will. Instead, simply inform your loved ones about your Bitcoin and educate them on how to access it in the unfortunate event of your passing. Write detailed instructions for where to find the private key along with any other passphrase etc that you may have. Don’t overcomplicate your security setup. Our biggest threat can be ourselves sometimes when it comes to security.
