looks like it can't be downloaded and listened to off platform. Thats the catch - Free stuff on Audible that stays in Audible, gets you used to using Audible

There is no link to an MP3 file no.

I have no problem with using their app.

I do expect at some future date that the books will “stop working” 😥

But for now it’s a fair price for a fair service IMO.

True, free is free. It just explains the “why”

I always offload my audiobooks to my home server after I buy them, so I’m probably in the minority of users who listen off-app
