You should have to be healthy to work in healthcare
Discussion
Yes. 🤯
One would think…
Ideally
I’m on the fence in this one.
If you’re a dietitian or giving any diet advice you should 100% be in good physical shape.
I think not even enough people, even doctors understand that the food they’re eating is destroying their bodies.
We need more awareness of fiat ultra processed foods
Don't take advice from someone who doesn't have what you want is a good general rule of thumb
You should have to be fit to work in fitness
(Growing number of obese trainers)

Can I ask your opinion on Dr. Jack Kruse? He seems quite respected in the bitcoin space, but appears 40 lb overweight to me
Am not very familiar outside seeing people point this out
im always astonished that people take pride in working in sick care but don’t take pride in their own health
It's been eye opening seeing the consistency of bad health in the industry
In a world where words have meaning that would be true!
Absofuckinglutely
Interesting take
I just try to avoid that industry, altogether.
Meaning a physical exam should be part of the licensing exam requirements? Or people (patients) should self select healthy doctors from the available pool of physicians?
Both would be directionally correct.
If the exam requirements were defined by the employer and not the state
For those thinking that it is equivalent to say that you need to be a drunk to work in alcohol...
Being triggered is not a valid argument.

You should have to be healthy to work in any profession tbh.
Healthcare isn't the only profession where incompetence and complacency can be harmful to one's health.
Many healthcare professionals are unhealthy due to their working hours and prioritising other's health over their own. The industry needs reform. I blame the government when it's government run, and the regulations when it's private.
Making up a lot of arbitrary rules today . Great for social media engagement
They are my rules and there are exceptions, but focusing on those exceptions misses the larger point.
I hope you have great Sunday.
There aren't enough health care workers as it is. Why would you want to limit the work force even further?
