If it is opposing another tooth I would replace it at the age of 30. Without it, the opposing tooth will erupt and your other teeth will shift. My husband and I had an exceptionally high number of super seniors in our practice and the one thing we would hear over and over especially from those 90+ is “Had I known I would live this long, I would have taken better care of/kept all my teeth.”
