What was the final straw, if any? Have you found an alternative for breaking news and current affairs from a non-mainstream media source? I would love to hear more on this Chris. #nostr
Hey Jimmy. Apologies for slow response! No final straw as such, more that I’m increasingly drawn to living in and from the world I’ve seen and increasingly see. It’s almost abrahamic this bitcoin journey! The breaking news is a conundrum though and I confess when the assassination attempt broke the first thing I wanted to do (and I confess did via a new account) was jump on x to see it unfold!
I then spent hours reading the same facts from multiple sources. I found that frustrating as I lost momentum on the things I care about. Perhaps i need an aggregator to monitor the feed and consolidate anything truly new that comes out.
I no longer have X on my phone and only use my account on my PC browser when I'm at my desk. However, we should #asknostr what people think about an alternative to X for breaking news and keeping up with current affairs.
