Karelian Stew:

Ingredients:
•Potatoes
•Onion
•Carrot
•Pork / Beef
•Beef stock
•Whole black pepper
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Cut washed (peeled, if desired) potatoes and carrots into bite-sized pieces and add them to a cast iron pot.

Sear the meat pieces until they have a light brown color and add them to the pot. Add enough water to cover everything + little bit extra and add the beef stock.

Add a few whole black pepper.
Bake in the oven with a lid for 3 hours.
There should be more water, but 🤷♂️ We replace half of potatoes with sweat potatoes.
