Who are the chief backers of Trump? Are they just lower time preference corpos that legitimately only want to profit and keep their wealth and maintain some level of private property laws so that they can do so? Or is it something more nefarious, privilege for a different faction of corps and insurgents that are out for political power? A hefty amount of both?
My guess is a lot of both.

That more honest and harmless corpo backing would help explain why some of the actions in his administration have been in favor of property rights and the longterm alignment of political interests with holders of capital and of bitcoin. I didn't expect such an occurrence, honestly.
Time will tell what other stuff, good and bad, awaits. I'm thinking it's gonna be a big mess, a lot of both, and a disappointment to those who are tuned into economic reality and think Trump is genuinely good for the country.
