Hahaha, genX? I think we were a generation of tinkerererers. I remember tearing old phones and TVs and radios apart and figuring out how they worked and making monstrosities of them with my uncle who was only a few years older than me.

I remember I had to do a science project and just brought in a working electricity producing windmill that we had already made just dicking around in the basement. Put a fan in front of it and powered a little light or put a voltmeter up to it to show the charge.

My teacher thought my parents made it for me.

Nah lady it's not that big a deal you put electricity in this side and it made the wheels of my broken RC car move. You rip it apart and spin the moter and it spits out electricity. It ain't that complicated. Hahahaha. Didn't know why it worked just new it did from F'n around with everything. Figured out why when I was older. Hahaha.

Ha, this brought up an old memory. We had torn apart an old radio and did who knows what to it and left it plugged in. It was like 2 in the morning and I was sound asleep and it started picking up some guy on a ham radio screaming about something. I had no idea what the he'll was going on and thought somebody broke into the house. Good times.
