Yeah at this point Monero now is what bitcoin was in 2013: underground, demonized, percieved as risky. Those same people who ignored Bitcoin 'til it was 50k+ are doing the same with Monero. They're not forward thinking visionary people.

Monero has more real world usage than Bitcoin. Look at any darknet market, Nano-GPT payment stats, xmrbazaar.com, etc. If your metric of what is or isn't a shitcoin is how dangerous the project is to the tyrannical state and how useful the coin is today, then it is Bitcoin which is the shitcoin.
I don't believe it's that black and white, however. Neither should you. Be more open minded lest it costs you gravely.
