"We are going to encourage and above all train Cannes merchants in the integration of cryptocurrencies for payments, as part of our Web3 strategy. This is not to judge the merits of said cryptocurrencies or to promote them, but simply to prevent Cannes and local businesses from depriving themselves of a high-potential clientele. Cryptocurrencies are already widely used in some countries, but are still marginal in France.
