As a #Pleb is it reasonable to run a #lightning node?

I loved to hear people's thoughts on this.

Should one lock up their #Bitcoin on lightning channels if they are only running a node with 10m sats?

Is it worth running a 100m sat node?

Where fees are currently standing open/close channels cost more. Not to mention rebalancing seems pointless due to fees.

Is it a sound strategy to run 0 fees to eventually get more balanced channels?

Not worth the effort, risk and expense in our experience, unless you will make a lot of payments.

My associates running a 2M+ sats node 2 years now, and never make more than a couple euros in fees per month.

If you try, open triangles on https://lightningnetwork.plus/ where you get 2 channels for price of one.

Rather 200M sats node is what i meant, or 2 BTC.

It is reasonable. You will make less costs for micropayments when using lightning than using main timechain.
