i prefer it to a phone number

used it recently to attempt to coordinate a purchase of some local home-grown eggs

i missed the email though because i so rarely get them but i hate phones worse than i hate email so idk...

in general, notifications are a real problem... the more places you have to look, the less likely you will see them, and the more you get, the less likely you are to disable DND on your device and miss messages... so, can't win lol

but i'd rather email than a call

i probably need to try and do something about notifications, they tend to just be so noisy when you enable like two things to do it and then suddenly everyone tries to get at you
