Every time i come i have all these notifications but they’re only from this hellthread. It’s actually quite annoying and i can’t mute this one on my client of choice (damus) 😞

I think it has to do with replies, I have the OG note muted as well but still get notifications for replies to that and replies to replies of it.

It should definitely mute replies. Any reply will have the root thread id. This is a quote repost of the original thread which has a different thread id.

maybe thread muting should use the original thread that was quote reposted 🤔
