When I tell people about Bitcoin, I don’t expect them to blindly follow my lead and dump their money into it

However, maybe I could be taken even moderately seriously and they’ll verify instead of trusting me.

But as well all know, almost no one will do that. Almost no one will hear you out and then investigate shit for themselves.

Because people who do that are extremists, conspiracy theorists, etc…

And that fundamental problem is probably responsible for a lot of nonsense in the world. People who know nothing about things tend to be experts on said thing. It’s the ultimate irony.

I had a kid tell me at 16k “crypto is dead. It’s leading us towards the 7th largest mass extinction event. My dad is a finance guy and he said it’s worthless”. This man is a research and development scientist. I cannot tell you how little respect I have for someone who claims to be a “scientist” while subscribing to ABC News dogma.

I orange pilled a friend but it took over a year. Leveraging the chaos of our current situation was the primary factor in his developing curiosity and eventually buying some. Now he’s looking to buy $10k worth btc - and I’m not mad even tho he’s still lookin at it as a speculative asset lol

Blackrock etf and the halving driving adoption ? Fine by me lol

Yes I wrote a quick way to describe peoples view on BTC:

Well said. My theory is ‘You must exit the system to learn about Bitcoin.’

“Exit the system” can be defined as using new forms of media to learn about Bitcoin (YouTube, Podcasts, Internet).

“The system” is defined as the Keynesian system that most people look through when they hear about Bitcoin (Mainstream News, Universities, Economists)

Sadly most people are stuck in the System — until BTC spikes in price then they call you 📞 😂

Just pitch it as “diversifying” their money holdings. Normies get that.

“Buy some bitcoin. Put it in a wallet.. you know, diversify..”

It really does seem as though you need some sortve catalyst to break the spell of these illusions before you can see through the lines.

My suggestion to these situations is the following: don't give up.

Try to be good at orange pilling a single person first. If you feel that Orange pilling 1 person becomes easy, then go to 2 people. Then to 4, then to 8, then to 16 and so on.

If you are able to Orange pill at least 1 person, you will provide an exponential benefit to bitcoin because its network effects. It is not the same to orange pill someone in the past than now or in the future

Word yeah I feel that. That network effect is definitely real

Get a wallet so I can zap you😡

😂😂 maybe with zeus

Maybe there are people conspiring and saying that trying to orange pill everyday people is almost impossible. We don't know, but if we flee, we are falling in a trap

They hear the word bitcoin and are automatically repulsed. The brainwashing is quite powerful
