I see an inviting little alien with a flat top and a probiscis for a mouth, coming to drain my plasmas, while a much more sinister insect like parasitic organism's tongue is that small alien as a benevolent, inviting decoy,

Kinda like those snakes that have a tail that looks like a bug they wiggle just right....
