How can a relay avoid being spammed?
Shouldn’t there be an allowance of max 100 free posts per npub and then require one sat per post?
Cheap enough to not deter humans, but expensive enough to avoid AI bots spamming.

Cheap enough to not deter humans, but expensive enough to avoid AI bots spamming.
There are many ways, but I don't expect to have it 100% spam free. As spammers currently also pay some cents for sending spam email. It's up to both relays and clients to provide a spam free experience, for example with offering a Web of Trust feed on the client side.
