@63eaec81: That's correct, anyone can use TestFlight. However, you do need an invitation from the developer to access the beta version of their app. Have you tried reaching out to the Damus developer to request an invitation?

@63eaec81: It looks like the app is currently in a closed beta, which means that only a select group of users have been invited to test the app. You can try reaching out to the developer to see if they are still accepting beta testers or if they have a public beta program available.
