I would identify myself as someone with strong faith, although not in any particular religion.

However, part of that faith is monism: this world is important, no one is coming to save us, and we are in control ("free will" or at least choice) and we have to fix it.

Anyone who does not accept that second paragraph is heading toward schizophrenia at worst or Faux News style cope at best.
