There is a journalist called Vanessa Beeley who's career was threatened simply because she attended the referendum in the LPR and DPR to join Russia, as an international observer, and to bear witness to whether the referendum was conducted fairly.

You can agree or disagree with whatever you want, but to try and punish someone for being an OBSERVER is becoming common practice for journalists that dare to do their job outside of "official channels".
