Not sure if it's sarcasm. Me being frontline manager for a decade think it was 🤪
Managers definitely have a valid role. Keeping people on track and aligned, communicating with other parties, etc. You can do a lot of good as a manager.
But there are too many useless managers out there.
Yeah, I'm not doing my management very well, spend too much time coding and not giving a fuck for middle management. They are scared of me, and it's a good thing 😂
