I mean cashu ofc. Stupid autocorrect.

From my few experiences, no. But I’m not an expert.

I’ve never experienced it before, but today from two various mints

Things change rapidly 🙂

cashu mints can enable fees, to prevent DoS

Could it be applied dynamically? Meaning when is the traffic low then you could swap your tokens for free (or cheaper)?

Is it a possible? Not sure, but haven't seen it in practice.

And some wallets don’t work with it.

Yes. Every time a token is spent (including when it’s swapped for a fresh one). Otherwise, an attacker could keep swapping it and bloat the database.

Thx.. it makes sense.. And is there any mint overview with their fee policy?

It’s probably param `MINT_INPUT_FEE_PPK`?

And the fee applies per token? Meaning it’s more efficient to user bigger amounts?

I’m not aware of anything like that, but I modified one of my older scripts and it turned out like this:

The fee is charged per token, but with a rate of 100 ppk it’s rounded up to 1 sat even for fewer than 10 tokens.

Thank you. And it is priced per token, right? So the amount doesn’t matter.

Yes. Although a larger amount usually means more tokens 👍
