From what I was being conditioned... I kinda need face-to-face communication and/or physical interaction. Otherwise, what's the point of it anymore?

same here. I enjoy my own company but always enjoy face-to-face interaction with people. We are wired that way. But the decline of it makes it very impersonal and sometimes people are awkward in a face-to-face settings.☺️✌️

Absolutely everyone mutes & blocks online. If those people who muted you met you face to face they probably wouldn't know what to say & will just stare at you till you walk away. Face to face interactions is declining which is why people are getting nuttier online. Lets do free hugs again!

💯 the crazy thing is, I can truly imagine this scenario. People are so brazen online because they thought no one will make them accountabl e unlike f2f. Exception to those who can walk the talk online and offline, who can say the same thing to you online and offline — to your face. But majority of it, you will be surprised what they are like in person. Some of them have so much sh*t going on in their lives that their way of escaping is through online rage, projecting their misery online to make themselves better. 😔

I can understand that too people having so much going on that online is their way of venting it's like writing in a journal except yoy know other people see it & satisfactory occurs if one like is received & if not the viewership is satisfying to know how many people read it.

I believe no matter what we choose to do we all have a lot going on the economy doesn't make it better & everyones upkeep cost rising is putting people to a boiling point soon everyone will be a walking timebomb. The lucky people are the ones who can afford to travel they really don't understand how good they got it if you can afford to see a new place even once a month.

As for myself I am an unfiltered mouth online & offline by nature & I don't compromise my personality for anyone or anything even at work i'll tell a manager, director, or vp off because I know they only care about the production of work & even if they didn't I still would anyways because when someone does something that's clearly stupid I just gotta let em know. ♈

I love to debate if I am facing someone who is in an opposition on a subject we have different beliefs on. It's a good feeling when you know someone is willing to attempt to debate you because at least you can tell they are listening. It's not to impose one belief over another but to truly understand which one is more logical, rational, counterintuitive, & productive. It's hard to find people that understand that in this world.

So if we ever meet face to face I promise you'll have a fun time I can just engage in any type of conversation because I like to learn & I like to challenge other peoples minds with hope I get some thoughts ticking.

so true and spot on! Kudos to you though for being brave at work and for being upfront. I had my own fair share of this. Perhaps if we ever get to have a f2f or vritual f2f, I'll get to share my crazy story at work.

We are complex being, I have learned that the hard way. I have no problems about debate, challenging one's method, way of thinking because as we both agree — it's how we grow and expand our views and experiences.

What I would not agree on is the attack of character. I find this very low. I mean instead of discussing and debating on the idea, people find it entertaining to attack someone's character. This is very low blow. Whilst I understand why they do it from a psychology perspective, I still don't agree with it esp name calling. This speaks volume of their character, a reflection.

This is very insightful and defo see you around here! ☺️✌️💯🫂
