The point you make that greed only exist in my mind is quite interesting and I'll try to do something about my perception of it 🫂

Its just how I've come to think of it in my thinking about these terms. In every instance of its usage it's always been used as a term in order to defame or make another seem "bad"

I've been reading Virtue of Selfishness by Ayn Rand and i think greedy & Selfishness can be used interchangeably.

Is it greedy for a man to concern himself with his own needs, before that of others? Can a man sustain himself, if he doesn't "greedly" concern himself with his own matters before others?

To be one of a martyr in lieu of being seen or perceived as not "greedy" by sacrificing himself for the sake of others leads to a world where one always expects another to sacrifice themselves for his own sake or be ostracized by society for being too "greedy"?

Just thoughts I've had about the word and how people use it. Not sure if it is true or not but i do believe it is worth podering a bit deeper if we are to use it to call another "greedy"
