I quit eating meat because when I was stuck in Jamaica and being persecuted by the government. I made a promise with God that if I get to escape my persecutors I will give up something in return.

I decided to give up killing of animals or any other beings with blood. Lets say I stuck with the pack I made with God .

After years of not eating meat - it became apart of my dogma to just plants.

Well done. 🧡👍

"why anyone feels the need to eat protein"

Yeah ok bro, stop eating meat stop eating beans etc.

Just eat the ultra processed sugars lol.

Expecting him to say that chitin is toxic next lol

Hahaha I knew he would try to say chitin is toxic lololol

Yeah um people who are allergic to shellfish and mushrooms already know to avoid them.

The same reason that cyliacs don't eat wheat...

And here we go.

Grain brain.

The guy is suggesting that you eat wheat if you are a cyliac that can not consume.

It's always either the lab grown meat people or the wheat and sugar people.

Bet you this guy drinks shitloads of soda and white bread

This guy also thinks that commercially made peanut butter doesn't already contain insects lol

They literally have a scale of how many insects per 100grams are allowed to be in peanut butter before it needs to be labelled because commercial peanut butter is full of cockroaches (the factories really can't help it at such large scales it's impossible to keep the roaches out)

And that chart with the different livestock is bullshit, cows only make so much pollution because they are raised in feedlots, cows on pasture are actually carbon negative, they build the soil up and help store more carbon.

It's only because feedlots keep the cows indoors and use water to flush all the shit into sewage evaporation ponds.

It's the sewage evaporation ponds that produce most of the greenhouse gases associated with cows

Yes you right - its there mass farming that causes the pollution not cows themselves.

What really annoys me about this whole argument is that the majority of these insects are not even bugs.

Mealworms are beetle larvae, crickets are crickets.

Cicadas are the only bug that is widely eaten (some communities in Africa eat mosquitos but otherwise cicadas are the only "bug" that people eat.
