Owners of electric cars have one rule: Always Be Charging (ABC).

Shopping? Be charging. Going on a hike? Park your car and be charging. Need to pee? Car should be charging.

I don't own an electric vehicle. My solar panels are always charging the batteries though.

But now I have this rule for my smartphone. The batteries are ridiculous. Getting a coffee in a coffee shop? Be charging. Taking a nap? Be charging.

It gets complicated, because there are so many devices that should be charging these days...

With every device that needs a battery, the reward increases for someone who can solve this problem..

It’s a beautiful bounty program 🙂

I’ve been talking to my colleague the other day from IT. He said in one sentence: we are able to do almost leaps in terms of storage, raw CPU or GPU power, we have stronger Wi-fi chips, better screens. Only thing which is basically the same is the battery and that’s why it all sucks.

i prefer my computer tied to my desk. and my phone.

tesla discovered a way to transmit power safely wirelessly, and that would eliminate the wires without turning your hardware into a walking base metal fire timebomb.

but the detailed notes about how to do it are all classified. funny that.
