Another threat to democracy! They're everywhere!

this democracy they keep talking about seems unusually vulnerable to everything and everyone.
I wrote about this in my notebook back in 2020:
"In the name of defending democracy, we’re slowly but surely sliding into authoritarian measures.
The overprotective mother archetype is consuming us, smothering freedom under the guise of protection.
I fear for what remains of our liberty."
