There is a cat distribution system in place.

Some 15y ago I met this beautiful tomcat on the street in front of my house. He invited himself in and stayed. While checking for a chip, the doctor almost cried You are so lucky!. It was a Norwegian woodcat.

He moved in, had a happy life until I broke up with my back then bf. As if the cat knew he vanished before he could be a subject to a divorce procedure :)
