After today's letter from the self-proclaimed owners of Bitcoin Core I can only hope that Knots will be the go-to client.

Cucks, commies and Feds are gonna be cucks, commies and Feds

Knots is a copy of core with tiny small changes lol no core no improvements to bitcoin, or you suggest the hundreds of contributirs will now move to Knots?

Right, honest developers should move to Knots and other implementations and create a true consensus.

I argue developers don't create consensus node runners do and besides maintaining several implementations bring higher risk of chain forks.

So I have to respectfully disagree.

But knots is good for building features that core doesn't have.

I don't think it's a good idea to run a node with a single maintainer who pushes directly to main and doesn't even know how to custody coins tbh :/ even though I like the ideas he implemented

This is Core's narrative for why you shouldn't use Knots.

The idea is that honest developers will develop on Knots and any other implementation (there are more) and create a genuine consensus, which I don't see happening now because everyone is rushing headlong to install the latest version of Core.

On the other hand, Luke didn't lose his coins...

What's wrong would there have been even if there had been a single maintainer?

so let's hope other devs will join Luke ๐ŸคŸ

Just remember Sony Betamax and VHS. There's a lesson to learn here.
