Has no one noticed that what they tried in the US is what they did in Canada? Move the lame duck leader out of the way and install the one the machine wants next to let everyone get used to it. Then have the "election" r which, if close enough to the margin can just be tapped in a little with various "counting help"?

I think in the US it wasn't close enough to the margin for them to pull it off, but they tried.
