That’s a false dichotomy. It’s not truth *or* respect.
It’s a matrix: I can tell the truth (or lie) with or without respect.
I can tell the truth without caring about your feelings or experiences or worldview, but will you receive that truth? “Respect” is a language.. the person you tell the truth to is much more likely to listen and understand if you speak in their mother tongue.

But it won't happen because I say anything bad. It will happen because you are defending your delusions. You believe they are you.

I invite truth at any cost, but I know that sharing truth is often only accepted when given with empathy. You have to adapt the message to suit the audience, that’s all respect is.
It's not possible if you guard your insecurities. If you thing that you are smart but my message is that you are dumb, it wont work if I will be kind. The parasite, the delusion, needs to be attacked. You can't remove the parasite by feeding it 🤷🏻♂️
