That doesn't sound like our service at all.
We give you sats back for buying our cards. You could never pay more for one of our cards than what it's worth - let alone 30% more!

Maybe it’s just a bug and you just need to fix it, but I definitely won’t buy another card at +30% above market.
Was it usd vs cad?
I got the amount on the invoice in CAD on the visa gift card.
Our Visa cards are all priced in and loaded with USD. You pay via bitcoin only. CAD value doesn't come into it at all (yet - we will have CAD-loaded cards in future).
Ah ok I’ll have to look at transactions again looked like it only exchanges at 1 USD - 1 CAD when I spent it that’s why I assumed it was CAD as my location and currency. Thanks for clarifying.
Are all cards in USD or just the visa?
Our Visa cards and all US brand gift cards are in USD. We have gift cards available in numerous other countries though and their currency is what you'd expect (eg, GBP for United Kingdom, EUR across most of EU, CAD for Canadian brands, AUD for Aussie brands, etc).
These cards are priced in USD and come loaded with USD. Maybe that's where the confusion is?
A $50 USD Visa card for 167k sats is not 30% more. 167k sats right now is ~$50
