The timezone for central Mexico is wrongish in that Mercator projection. Since Lopez Obrador abolished daylight savings, we now spend the summer with the Mountain Daylight Tribe, until Black Friday or whatever rolls around and the US drags us kicking and screaming back to Central Standard Time. What's even funnier is that it's been nearly 10 months since the abolition of DST in Mexico and GOOG still hasn't figured out how to rollout the Android TZDB merge of IANA 2022f changes, so probably millions of Mexicans have the time an hour off on their "smart" TVs and yellphones. Oh well, "ahorita", right?
