One of the most interesting things about languages is that most people think in a running dialog, pictures, ideas or a combination of them all.

It is only when you learn a new word that you can have a new thought. For example "Schadenfreude" in German means you wish bad on a friend; "mushallah" is Arabic for "God wills it" but is more closely translated to "I'm jealous of the blessing you have received but am thankful it happened to you my friend."
