I'm glad Lightning exists but it can be super fucking irritating sometimes. I'm bullish long term. However, there are far too many people who seem to think that it's done and good to go. It's not. There are days when I just want to be done with it and others where I'm pleasantly surprised. The experience is still inconsistent. That's fine if we're all honest about where things stand currently.

TBH, in its current form, it sucks.
Here's how it will work.
At first it will be used by service providers. For example the way the Aqua wallet uses it. But as time goes on it will continue to be developed and continue to get more and more usable for ordinary folks who don't have time to manage all the channels and liquidity. That will become automatic and simple. And service providers will emerge that also make it simple to use at the cost of some of the privacy.
We must live in completely different bubbles. I know absolutely no one that thinks the work on lightning is anywhere close to being done.
