Whoever has control of the server becomes the gatekeeper in NOSTR. Eventually we have to invest in our own servers and relays since you may offend one thus offend all. For the mute button, I still havenβt figured out how to bypass it.
This has nothing to do with a server.
Mute on Damus is clientside, notifications filter, onlyzaps are clientside.

Turn on onlyzaps
And/or turn on friends of friends notifications filter
Iβll check out FOF notifications filter, but I really wish there was a solution to just not see anything about muted notes in notifications π
i really wish that some client devs would get the point that we mute them for a reason not because we want to be teased with a hider taking up screen space and provoking us to be curious after we already got sick to death of these clowns
and same goes with replies, i don't want to see replies to my mutes either, fuck them, even if the replier isn't trash they are obviously stupid
