Did you know that the ice cream cone was invented by two different people at two differnet times who never met each other? The first was an Italian immigrant named Italo Marchiony in 1896 in New York, who was granted a patent in 1903. The second was a Syrian immigrant named Ernest Hamwi, who invented his version at the 1904 St. Louis World Fair!
