Watched the Martian (2015), a sci fi survival film directed by Ridley Scott. An astronaut is left behind on Mars, after a massive weather event. Everyone thought he was dead. He is stranded and has to use his resilience and skills to survive and contact NASA. His teammates and NASA on Earth race against the clock to attempt to rescue him. The movie is very funny: the main character is way too corny. The special effects are extremely well made. I have to draw a parallel with the Alien serie. Even though the Martian is a more realistic film, I think the Alien universe is better executed. At the end of the day, I’d rather watch Alien movies than the Martian. 7/10 #nodereviews

This makes a lot of sense. The story felt a bit rushed. They tried to pack all the characters from NASA, from the Chinese space program and from the space crew in one movie. It’s a lot for 144 minutes.

Agree. The book is great. The audio book reader does a lot of accents well.
