Are you making the soil more fertile?
Our garden got to -2c so I tried to keep the plants alive during the 4 hours of frost. It kind for worked about 1/4 of the plants died.
So like… heating up the soil? Sorry if soo ignorant 😂
Living so far north I have to deal with cold more than heat. Sometime it is easier to grow plants in greenhouses. Normally we don't get frost in June. I have put buckets over the plants in the past.
