I’m giving it a go right now myself to see it’s affect. I can see both sides as I don’t want it to become spammy. I like the idea that someone can turn it off if they want. But hey, they still got sats out of it. And agree, I see signs and warnings that some of Nostr will get too controlling. Hope not, but the Internet itself was no different too. The early days was wide open like the Wild West. Now it’s so controlled. I really really hope this doesn’t become the norm on here too.

I agree. Where else do you get a pretty specific demographic and can interact with them in such a way as nostr? Bots sending low number of Sats automatically is just a form of spam. But sending a proper amount to get someone's attention is the price of their attention. I'm not even a fan of putting links/pics that appear next to zap amount (in Amethyst does this). A good zapvertising account Zaps and interacts with people. Answers their questions and provides value even before selling them something. 🤙💜
