We need crash reporting libraries for mobile apps that publish their reports on Nostr.

Does google play not have infra for this? Like a google play testflight or something
Yes, Google automatically tracks all crashes/ANRs from PlayStore installs. No need for any library inside the app. Side-loading requires the dev's own stack or other libraries and services out there. It's not ideal.
Google's one is too centralizing. It would be great if the info was sent over Nostr, publicly. With some sort of approval by the signer (to make sure the error message doesnt expose any private info). Otherwise, most info in the crash report could be fully public.
Crash reports can sometimes contain PII or other sensitive information.
I wonder if it could be sent as a sealed DM to the dev, maybe that could solve this.
yeah care would have to be taken to make sure memory is scrubbed. I only see the backtrace and no stack data in xcode reports from what I can tell, so it looks like apple is conscious of this which is nice to see.
Yep, just ask the user if it's ok to share. This is not hard.
Funnily, I was thinking of this some days ago. :)
I think this is a use case that Nostr could solve very well, especially for OSS projects, that sometimes resort to using E-mail for sending crash reports.
