You can already add users to profile lists. Just need a way now to select what you want to see from each profile list, and how often etc...
Can't wait for that kind of curation possibilities!

Would be cool if you can curate multiple of these personalized feeds, and be allowed to just swipe between these feeds.
For the personalized feeds, you could curate both content & algo for each.
1) memes:
- all memes, excluding nsfw
- ranked by engagement volume
2) (protocol) news
- few credible sources
- ranked by recency
3) Instagram/photos from friends
- excluding nsfw
4) "global" (not seen yet)
- all my follows, excluding the cache of already seen notes
- ranked by engagement
