When I was very young I was pretty nihlistic and got reeeeely into Peak Oil & in the end I learned:

Societal inertia + human innovation will stave off the apocalypse far longer than any of us deserve.

When I found Bitcoin, it felt like that grudgingly optimistic take had been made manifest.

It is best to be prepared, don't get me wrong!

But I think we are probably going to make it in the long run.
